Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I warmly welcome you to the Diplomatic Ball in Saint Petersburg! I have the honor of being the Chairman of the Organizing Committee. I will do my best to ensure our ball is a success.
This is the second Diplomatic Ball. The first was held in Moscow in 2022. We then had to take a break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we are reviving this project.
The ball will be attended by ambassadors from foreign countries, representatives of international organizations (UN, UNESCO, CIS, EAEU), honorary consuls, senators and State Duma deputies, foreign journalists accredited in Russia, representatives of international business corporations, and prominent cultural figures.

The event will include the awarding of honorary titles such as "Ambassador of Russian Culture," "Business Consul," and the Gold Medal "For Outstanding Contribution to Peace," as well as the presentation of the International Diplomatic Club.
It is particularly gratifying that the ball is a charitable event. Funds raised will support the creation of a College for Gifted Children at the Eurasian International University, which will be located on the new "Lomonosov" Campus. I sincerely hope that the ball will gather bright and warm-hearted people with positive energy and kind hearts. Together, we will enjoy a wonderful evening and support talented children!

ORGANIZERS OF THE BALL
The ball is organized by a committee that includes representatives of the diplomatic corps, leaders of public diplomacy, and renowned cultural figures. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee is the Rector of the Eurasian International University, Chairman of the Council for International Humanitarian Cooperation and Public Diplomacy, Konstantin Petrovich Klimenko-Bogdanov.
The ball is held with the support of the Council for International Humanitarian Cooperation and Public Diplomacy, the Russian Creative Union of Cultural Workers, and the School of World Leaders at the Diplomatic Faculty of the Eurasian International University.

Media organizations must send an application to the ball's press service for journalist accreditation. Applications are accepted until June 1, 2024, at: dipbal@mail.ru
The received applications will be processed by the organizing committee, and from May 17 to May 30, notifications of accreditation or denial will be sent. The notification will be sent to the editorial email specified in the application. Upon receiving accreditation confirmation, the journalist must personally arrive at the specified time and place to review the work rules for the press and obtain an accreditation badge.
A passport or journalist ID must be presented. Failure to appear as invited will result in accreditation cancellation. Access to the event is not possible without a badge. The application must be submitted in the following form.
